Religious Education

The Religious Education program is central to our school's identity. The role of the school is to work in partnership with you, the parent. This means that whilst faith formation is primarily your responsibility, the school will be involved at each year level in the ongoing formal faith development of children in the Religious Education program.

At St Brigid's Catholic School, Religious Education is about sharing the traditions of the Catholic Community:

  • the Good News of Jesus Christ
  • supporting the family within the community of school and parish
  • inviting young people to reflect on their life and theworld, to  find meaning in the context of the Gospel situated in life and informed by scripture, tradition and liturgy a curriculum which brings together other disciplines and integrates them into the context of faith
